Maurice Carmon a.k.a Mlyrics is better known as the man behind the music. He has worked with some of the industry’s top producers and writers to some of the industry’s newest and established artist. As a writer/producer Mlyrics has had the pleasure of working with such musical legends as Snoop Dogg, Charlie Wilson, Whitney Houston, Britney Spears, K-CI (from K-CI & JoJo for his solo project), Jon B, Howard Hewart, O-Town, Chauncey Black (of BlackSteet for his solo project), to industry new comers like Sterling Simms, Pistol P, Samantha Jade (Step It Up 1), B. Howard, Arden Cho (actress), Kristine Elezaj (Nascar Driver/Model/Actress), Midwest City (whose song features Flo Rida), Oryan, L’Marvin, LaSinfornia (Latin American group nominated for a Grammy), Armel ft. Juelz Santana, Day 26 (MTV Making of the Band who sold 490k in the first week), Gospel vocalist gospel artist Chris Bolton, Andre Lafelle in which all are signed to major labels. Mlyrics has worked with producers like Qura Rankin, Kenny Bereal (Hit Club Entertainment), the Track Stars, LT. Hutton, Co-Stars, Eric Hudson, Toni Dixon, Vassal Bedford, Big Bert, brother Tim Carmon who produce and write with mega artist such as Eric Clapton, Baby face, BB King, Marcus Miller, Lala Hathaway and more. Between Mlyrics and brother there are not many artist in the industry that they have not worked with. Mlyrics has done artist development for The Program a label put together by former writing/production partner LT Hutton, Snoop Dogg, Elton Brand formerly of the Clippers now with the 76ers. The groups developed were Gunn (female R&B group), Chris Starr (R&B/Soul artist) with current single & video out “Mary Jane” written by Maurice Carmon Mlyrics, and Mr. Right who song “Silly Love” which was originally written for them was placed on the Day26 self titled album Day26 and featured on MTV Making Of The Bands. Mlyrics has also had musical features in the Bernie Mac Show “Damn” which was performed by new artist Kenny Miles, and had a number a songs in a Tim Reid Film titled For Real. All of these writing, productions, developmental, and personal experiences has placed Mlyrics in a position to where he has, can and is helping others with their musical dreams and aspirations.
